“Xtreme adventure in the Ardeche”

This was our second trip with Ardeche Adventures and we will definitely be coming back for more!

Mike and his team provided an excellent service that included river guiding, kayak skills coaching, meals and accommodation. They tailored our trip for our skill level and desire for adventure. Although the main purpose of our trip was to improve our white water kayaking skills we also enjoyed cliff jumping, seal launching off big rocks and swimming in the rapids.

Due to the unusually hot weather for May and unusually low water levels we got the rare opportunity to paddle down some rock slides and waterfalls in the upper Ardeche. This was an extremely thrilling experience.

Mike is a very knowledgeable coach and guide and really helped us to improve our technique and rolling ability. He is great fun on and off the river.

We opted for a mix of chalet and camping to experience both comfort and wilderness on our adventure. Mike and the team provided meals in the chalet, at the campsites and on the rivers to make our holiday extremely easy.

Thank you Mike and team for a kayaking trip we will never forget. Look forward to seeing you again in 2012 !!!

Top Tip: Mike is a top cook and we really recommend you try his campsite apple pie.
