Description of Mobile Adventure

Mobile Adventure is based in the small vibrant town of Keswick in the heart of the Lake District. We use expert, local instructors who know the area and can cater to each individuals specific requirements.Our staff are highly quslified in watersports, mountaineering, climbing and caving giving us the flexibility to provide a great package for all our groups.
Whether you are searching for a relaxing day of fun surrounded by the beauty of the Lake District, or are looking to use our outdoor activities as an intense and challenging test of your abilities we are confident of achieving your aims at Mobile Adventure
Mobile Adventure works primarily with individuals, families and small groups with our aim being to tailor the session to meet your requirements.Mobile Adventure provides all essential technical equipment for each outdoor activity, we do however expect you to come wearing applicable clothing for the session.
From 6 to 106, everyone is welcome, although our instructor will advise on appropriate challenges.All our instructors are fully insured and hold the necessary qualifications to work for our company.
If you are still unsure as to which activity to try, then we recommend our multi activity package which involves a bit of everything!

Activities at Mobile Adventure

Canoeing

Canoeing on Derwent Water provides you with an opportunity to get closer to nature than you would think possible. In many cases canoeing will enable you to be able to travel to, and see sights accessible for only a small number of the Lake District's visitors. Indeed the beauty of canoeing is it's abilitiy to allow you to enter the natural world that surrounds us, without disturbing it's peace and tranquility.

Kayaking

The Lake District is the perfect kayaking playground, offering everything from flat calm lakes to grade 5 white water. If you like kayaking then the lake district offers plenty of choice for all ability levels, and Mobile Adventure will suit the session to your skill and aims.

Gorge Walking

Ghyll scrambling is always one of the favourites and involves descending a Lake District mountain stream under the safe guidance of our experienced instructors. The descent will include slides, dives and even waterfall jumps and is guaranteed to have you buzzing with adrenalin by the finish. Your instructor will guide you down the ghyll ensuring your safety and maximising your enjoyment of a truly great experience!

Rock Climbing

Run as a half or full day activity, rock climbing is a great course for those looking for a unique and challenging way of experiencing something out of the ordinary! If you wanted to extend your learning further then we recommend you take one of our lead climbing courses where we will take you even further afield and higher! The whole point of the day though is to have as much fun as possible within a learning environment surrounded by the beauty of the Lake District
This rock climbing course is ideal for beginners, families or groups just out for fun. We guarantee to have you all climbing safely and competently by the end of the day. Skills learnt will include belaying, lowering, climbers calls and movement skills.
Both rock climbing and abseiling are options at a wide variety of venues within and around the Borrowdale valley, and our local instructors take pride in tailoring the session to meet your specific needs.

Climb the highest points of England Scotland and Wales either over a 24 hour period, or at a more leisurely pace to experience the beauty of our mountains. Our package includes qualified guides, all accommodation, food and transport from meeting the group through to the end of te challenge.

Having seen 'Ghyll Scrambling' in a '100 things to do while alive' list I started looking about and came across Mobile Adventures website. I booked on with a few mates, and we all absolutly loved it! We have all done some climbing, and this was better - jumping, sliding and swimming in crystal clear water!

Go on - give it a go!

Top Tip: Book early - they get a big waiting list!
