Welcome to The North of England Activity Centre - the premier venue for Clay Pigeon shooting, Karting, Quads, Gliding, Off-Road Driving - and much more!!

Based at Rufforth, near York, this first class, all weather, Activity Centre covers 34 acres and includes a superb shooting range with outstanding facilities and with professional, expert tuition you’re sure to have a fantastic days Clay Pigeon shooting.

Our Activity Centre also includes an exciting Off-Road Driving course with steep gradients, water gullies and mud swamps and is designed to test both novice and experience drivers alike.

Try your hand at Longbow Target Shooting We offer supervised archery practise and competition sessions coached by our professional staff. All the equipment is provided. The archery coIt is also a very pleasant introduction to this "gentle" pursuit, set as it is, in a beautifully grassed surroundings. An excellent activity for team participation and suitable for all ages and both sexes.

Off-Road Driving

Our purpose built 4x4 off-road driving circuit is set in 14 acres of exacting terrain and is designed to test both novice drivers and those with existing experience. The course layout includes steep ascents and descents, water gulleys and mud "bomb holes." Novice drivers, under supervision, will learn to tackle the simple slopes and then progress to the more daunting challenges that the course will demand. More experienced drivers/owners will be able to discover the full extent of just what their vehicles are capable of.

Clay Pigeon shooting

Clay Pigeon Shooting is an activity well suited to appeal to both men and women and as a group event, is an excellent team builder. Under the expert tuition of our experienced instructors, groups will begin with some practice target shooting to get the feel of the guns and learn the safety procedures before moving on to be divided into teams and challenged with targets fired from high and low towers on our purpose built ranges.

Quad Biking

Get the feel of our 250cc Quads and then try your skill on the slalom where precise and skilful driving is more important than speed. The circuit is not designed for racing, more to promote "all round" skills - but watch the rivalry develop as each quad bike driver tries to show off their pace! Quad biking is suitable for both sexes with the minimum of driving experience and is ideal for beginners. Full training is given under expert tuition by professional instructors. Helmets and overalls are provided by the centre.
